Happy Aloha Friday!
If you caught my post from last week you know the theme for March: Meal planning!
Meal planning and buying groceries can be really intimidating, and not to mention some nights you just don’t have the energy to cook or run to the store for last minute ingredients.
One of my favorite things to do when I don’t have the energy to cook is to get takeout. After looking at your weekly budget, you can decide how many times a week you want to allow for this. So let's say if you can afford eating out/getting takeout two times per week, you can choose spontaneously throughout the week when you want to use these. This can prevent burnout in the kitchen and allow for more variety while also challenging some of your eating disorder thoughts/beliefs.
We also know that some restaurants give bigger portions, which make great leftovers for lunch or dinner the following day. If you know the portions are small and still want leftovers, then order two entrees! This is such a great idea, especially if you know that you won’t have time the next day to prepare your lunch.
