Happy Aloha Friday!
Have you ever found yourself in a social media zombie moment? I have! I’ll go on Instagram to check my messages and find myself scrolling through my for you page for WAY too long! And do I ever feel good afterwards? Nope!
Why doesn’t it make us feel better? Because it’s not human connection! It doesn’t boost our serotonin (happy hormone) like connection with others does, and in fact, it raises that pesky cortisol (stress hormone).
So here is your reminder to spend less time on social media and try calling or texting a friend instead!
